Aged 69
A mum to Paul, Dean and Sarah. Wife to Terry and Nanna to four lucky grandchildren,Sadie,
Bethan,Luke and Cameron.
A loyal and true friend to all.
A very sudden and unexpected death.
A lady who dealt with so much throughout her life, the tragedy of losing her son, Dean, in a
motorbike accident when he was only 29, left her devastated,the sadness and pain she felt when Dean
was killed was something she never got over and she remained heartbroken for 13 years and 9 months!
And the unsolved mystery of where her father was , when he went to work one day and never returned
when she was just 18.
We find some comfort in knowing she is reunited with those we know she wanted to see again.
Despite all of this what a lovely special person she was, always there if you needed her and so
thoughtful and generous to her family and friends, and even to those she didnt know. A soft touch
from her warm hands would make you feel better if you were upset, and her laugh could always make
you smile.
Anywhere she went there would be some one she knew, from a neighbour to someone she worked with
years before. Never would she not say hello. She looked for the best in people, even if their faults
were noticable.
WE LOVE YOU NANNA AND MISS YOU SO VERY MUCH.
The Final Flight
Dont grieve for me, for now Im free,
Im following the path God laid for me.
I took his hand when I heard his call,
I turned my back and left it all.
I could not stay another day,
To laugh, to love, to work, to play.
Tasks left undone must stay that way,

Hi mum, its been six months since we saw your lovely smiling face, it seems like an eternity, but in other ways like yesterday! I miss everything about you so much, your sense of humour, your kindness and support, all your good advice, our late night chats and the way you used to make the children laugh when you told dad off,which was quite alot! I could go on and on there are so many things!!
I'm sure you know that i think about you all the time, your only ever a thought away, thats what we used to say about Dean remember! Can't believe im saying that about you now

Footsteps In The Sand
One night a man had a dream.
He dreamed he was walking along the beach with the LORD.
Across the sky flashed scenes from his life.
For each scene, he noticed two sets of footprints in the sand:
one belonging to him and the other to the LORD.
When the last scene of his life flashed before him
he looked back, at the footprints in the sand.
He noticed that many times along the path of his life
there was only one set of footprints.
He also noticed that it happened at the very
lowest and saddest times of his life.
This really bothered him and he questioned the LORD about it:
'LORD, you said that once I decided to follow you,
you'd walk with me all the way. But I have noticed that
during the most troublesome times in my life
there is only one set of footprints. I don't understand
why when I needed you most you would leave me.'
The LORD replied:
'My son, My precious child,
I love you and I would never leave you.
During your times of trial and suffering,
when you see only one set of footprints,
it was then that I carried you.'

I would like to thank you from the bottom of my heart for all your support.
I have not been on for 2 weeks as my Husband and Family thought i was becoming obsessed! They felt it wasnt doing me any good as all i would do all day was read the new sites (get upset) and leave messages for my friends.
I would talk only about GTS and the sad stories that i had read or rant on about the after life.
I promised my family i would leave it alone to prove to them i was not addicted. It was the longest 2 weeks ever!
I know i was becoming addicted but to me it was always a comfort everyday logging on and seeing beautiful poems candles and pictures.
In the way we lost Allan it was such a shock and only having my sister and part time mum to talk too (also elaine) it was not enough. GTS gave me an outlet to put my feelings down and feel part of a bigger picture. Everyone unfortunately understands how i feel. Its like i bore my family and friends by talking about Allan but on here you get the pick me up you need.
My family have now come to understand that i need this memorial site to release my love and anger.
I feel i need for you to understand that i havent forgot about you or your Angel.

My husband has finally gone to work
My children have finished their play
they've gone to bed their stories read
Now it's my time of day.
I've had one of those days
you know what I mean
so I sit back and relax

I would like to thank you from the bottom of my heart for all your support. I feel i was just coming to terms with losing my dad when i lost my brother Allan. When someone takes their life your left feeling devastated because they made a choice to leave.
